Ramadhin College, Sheikhpura was established in 1969. It was
established by Late Sri. Rajo Singh, a member of Parliament, a
visionary, mass leader and the creator of Sheikhpura District, with the
help of intellectuals, social activist & common people of Sheikhpura. Sri
Rajo Singh was the founder secretary of the college and continued to
the post till the conversion of the college into a constituent unit of
T. M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur.
Ramadhin College was named after the name of Shri Ramadhin Singh,
village – Abgil, P.S. – Sheikhpura, who was a man of wisdom, a social
thinker and a great affluent farmer. His contribution in the field of
knowledge is immense and setup a milestone in education. The college
become a constituent unit of T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur on
12th of December, 1980.
