The Department of History at R.D. College, Sheikhpura, is one of the academically enriching departments of the college. The department is dedicated to developing historical awareness, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of India’s rich cultural and social heritage among students.
The department provides knowledge of Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History along with World History, Cultural Studies, and related historical disciplines. Students are encouraged to analyze historical events, interpret sources, and develop research-oriented thinking through academic learning.
